Whisper interpreting is nothing other than a form of simultaneous interpreting without any specific equipment.
This type of service can only be used for small meetings to allow for the simultaneous translation of a conversation for a maximum of one or two participants. However, it is an extremely demanding service requiring absolute concentration. It should, therefore, only be used in short meetings or small workshops.
In the event of a longer and more substantial meeting, you’ll have to plan for two separate interpreters who will relay each other approximately every 20 minutes, like with simultaneous interpreting, which requires specific equipment (cabin, microphone, and headphones).
Our project managers will advise you on the best solution on a case-by-case basis, depending on some key characteristics of your event: the number of participants, number of event-goers requiring interpretation, and the duration of the event.
