Does Trad Online use machine translation software?
Trad Online uses a CAT tool (Trados Freelance version) for large projects that require many translators. This software is not a machine translation tool. All our translations are entirely done by experienced translators and a Senior Project Manager is responsible for the final proof reading of the documents.

Who translates my text?
Trad Online selects its primary translators and possible sub-contractors following a rigorous selection procedure. Your text will be either translated by an experienced translator or by one of our junior translators; whatever be the case, the final translation is proof read by a senior manager.

How is consistency with previous translations ensured?
Trad Online retains all the texts of its clients for a period of 12-18 months. This enables us to maintain the consistency with existing translations. For our new clients, the usage of a glossary and/or sending of previously translated texts enables to take from a previous translation in an efficient manner.

How do you guarantee the quality of my translation?
We treat every translation as a new project, whatever be the volume and price, and also our translators have a genuine quality commitment in terms of translation of your texts. We also have risk mitigation processes in place ( automated verification of translations, proof reading by a second translator, etc.). Our service does not end with delivering the translated documents; you can seek any clarification regarding our translations up to 3 months after the delivery of the translated documents.

How does Trad Online invoice my texts?
Trad Online invoices based on the number of words in the original documents. The invoice amount corresponds to the tariff per word multiplied by the number of words in your text.

Can I be invoiced in my currency?
Trad Online accepts payments in all currencies. In case of small volume translations, an additional charge can be invoiced to compensate for the bank charges involved in en-cashing foreign currencies.

What is client area?
Trad Online invests in innovation: with the creation of a dedicated administration area for our clients, we chose to provide a unique service that only few others in the market offer: upload your texts to be translated, retrieve the translated texts, display your invoices online, send us a message or an email etc. All this is done from your private administration area (a login will be assigned to you at the end of your first translation project with Trad Online).

What can I get translated by Trad Online?
We translate all types of documents compatible with Windows (Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel), PDF files and on request, we also translate Mac format documents.

Can I get my Internet site translated?
Trad Online offers to do Internet site translations in a global manner: you send us all the files to be translated (in HTML, ASP, PHP, JSP, or other format) and we send them to you directly in the same format, ready to be installed on your Web Server. You can also approach us to translate your images or Flash animations.
